The Cordova Public College (CPC) BSIT Department celebrated the school’s 21st Foundation Anniversary with an action-packed "IT Day" on March 19, 2026, at the Cordova Sports Complex. Carrying the theme "We Dream It, We Do It," the event showcased the technical skills, creativity, and sportsmanship of the student body.
The celebration opened with welcoming remarks from the Dean of the College of Computer Studies, Mr. Nicasio P. Amoin Jr., followed by an inspiring message about the "Hackathon" from the College President, Dr. Fatima Richell F. Eviota.
The morning kicked off with a competitive Tech Quiz Bowl. Team Abnegation (Team A) took the championship title, proving their technical knowledge, followed by Erudite (Team 😎 and Dauntless (Team A).
The crowd also enjoyed high-quality promotional videos and hilarious parody films. Team Dauntless bagged the award for the Best Promotional Video. Meanwhile, in the gaming arena, Team Amity emerged victorious after an intense Call of Duty Mobile (CODM) match against Abnegation.
The energy stayed high in the afternoon with the much-awaited Mr. and Ms. I.T. 2026. Candidates walked the stage in stunning costumes, portraying popular characters from Mobile Legends.
Mr. Dixon (as Yi Sun-Shin) from Erudite and Ms. Shena (as Angela) from Amity were crowned the grand winners. Joining them in the winning circle were:

The competition continued with the Mobile Legends finals, where Team Abnegation won a thrilling match against Team Dauntless. In the Hip-Hop Competition, Team Amity was named the Champion after a versatile and amazing performance that wowed the judges.
The Grand Finale
The day ended with a grand awarding ceremony, recognizing the hard work and art of expression of the IT students. Based on the total points from all competitions, Team Amity was declared the Overall Champion of IT Day 2026.
